Madden 22: How to Play the Game Early & Which Version to Buy

Who’s ready for football!? We don’t have long to wait now, Madden 22 releases on the 20th of August. Let’s go over which version is the right one for you to pre-order, how to save some money, and how to get the game before the actual release date.

This year’s Madden has 3 versions of the game similar to past madden releases. If you want the basic Madden experience that everyone will get at launch without having to pay extra then the Standard Edition will be the choice. However, if you plan on playing the next gen versions as well as the current/last gen version (Dual Entitlement), and you want to hit the field three days earlier, it will cost you a premium for it. Both the MVP and Dynasty Editions will grant you three day early access as well as other goodies.

If you want to play Madden 22 even earlier starting on the 12th you will need to subscribe to EA Play (EA Play Pro available for PC only) and get Madden 22 on the 12th (8 days before the official launch).

If you pre-order the game you will receive a Tom Brady gear capsule (Gear for your avatar in the game) and 20 staff points for franchise mode, everyone will receive these items regardless of which version of the game you pre-order.
